Together, we’re building a nourished Dane County where everyone has equitable access to abundant, highly desirable food.

  • Join us any week from early May through October. Open Sessions are flexible—come as you’re able, stay as long as you can. We’re always happy to have you in the garden.

    Volunteers of all ages, abilities, and experience levels are welcome. Our garden leaders offer guidance and on-the-job training at every session. We provide the tools and gloves. Wear clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting dirty.

  • Looking for a meaningful volunteer experience for your group or workplace? MAFPG is glad to host a Special Session just for you. We begin scheduling in February for our growing season, which runs from early May through October.

    Group sizes of 5–30 are ideal, but we’re happy to consider special requests. As a small team, we aim to keep a staff-to-volunteer ratio that creates a great experience for everyone.
